MIAMISBURG, OH – The Miamisburg Vikings kicked off their 2025 football season in dominant fashion Friday night, overwhelming the Chaminade Julienne Eagles with a decisive 34-0 shutout victory.
From the opening whistle, the Vikings set the tone — and never looked back.
Miamisburg’s ground game was relentless, chewing up yards and the clock while keeping the Eagles’ defense on its heels all night. Behind a powerful offensive line and determined running backs, the Vikings controlled the pace and tempo with a punishing rushing attack that wore down Chaminade Julienne over four quarters.
But the Vikings didn’t just dominate on offense. They scored in all three phases of the game — a hallmark of complete, disciplined football.
The defense made its presence known early and often, flying to the ball and delivering punishing hits throughout the contest. Miamisburg’s physical, aggressive style forced multiple turnovers, including a pivotal interception that was returned for a touchdown, energizing the home crowd and putting an exclamation point on a suffocating defensive effort.
