David Bruton Jr. #27 (retired in 2015)

David is a 2005 Graduate of Miamisburg high school.  He was a standout in football and track & field.  In football, he was a 3 year letter winner and Captain.  He holds the record for Most Interceptions in a Season (8).  He also broke records in Kick-Off Return Yardage and Kick-Offs for TD‘s.  In track & field,  Bruton holds records in 110 Meter Hurdles, 100 Meters, 200 Meters, 400 Meters, Long Jump and Relays.  He was a State Placer in multiple events.  

He was a 2009 Graduate of the University of Notre Dame where he was a 4 year letter winner and Captain for the Irish.  David played in 47 of 49 Regular Season Games in his Notre Dame Career and was a 2 year starter at safety.  He finished his career with 214 tackles & 7 interceptions and was named to the Bronco Nagurski & Jim Thorpe Awards Watch List.  Bruton was rated the #12 safety in the country by Sporting News Magazine.  He graduated in 4 years with degrees in Political Science & Sociology.  He was drafted to the Denver Broncos in 2009 in the 4th Round (114th overall pick).  He has played 6 years in the NFL, playing in 93 out of 96 regular season games.  Bruton is considered one of the best Special Teams Players in the NFL and was voted as an alternate to the Pro Bowl twice.  He has been voted Bronco’s Team Captain and was Denver’s Representative for the NFL’s “Fuel up to Play 60”. 

Erica Allenspach #22 (retired in 2016)


Erica is a 2007 graduate of Miamisburg High School.  While at Miamisburg, Erica competed in golf and basketball.  In basketball, Erica still holds MHS records of career points (1,234), single season field goal percentage (69%), single season three point percentage (46%), career steals (296), and career free throws made (313).  Allenspach scored in double figures 23 times her freshman season.  She was a Mid Miami League 1st Team selection all four years of her high school career (04, 05, 06 and 07).  She was named Mid Miami League player of the year in 2007.  During her career at Miamisburg her team amassed a record of 73 wins and 16 losses with two league titles and one sectional title.


Erica continued her basketball career at Marist College which is a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.  As a freshman, she was named MAAC Rookie of the Year, MAAC All-Rookie Team, and four time MAAC Rookie of the Week.  As a sophomore she was named All-MAAC Third Team and MAAC All-Tournament Team. As a junior, Allenspach was named All-MAAC First Team, All-Met Second Team, MAAC All-Tournament Team, MAAC Player of the Week, and Pre-Season All-MAAC First Team.  She was named Metropolitan Writers Association Player of the Year her senior season of 2010-11.  Erica was selected Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Player of the Year the same season.  Allenspach finished her collegiate career ranked in the top 10 in eight statistical categories: 5th in games played (134), 7th in points (1416), 4th in free throws made (321), 5th in assists (371), 9th in field goals made (454), 3rd in free throw percentage (82%), 3rd in steals (207), and 1st in 3 point field goal percentage (42%) two games with 100% minimum five attempts.  During her career at Marist, she helped to lead the Red Foxes to four straight conference titles and four appearances in the NCAA DIV I tournament.
