After graduating from college, Osborne returned home to begin his career as a teacher in 1994 while coaching football and track & field for the Vikings. In 2006, he became the MS Athletic Director while continuing to teach art at the middle school. In 2012, he stepped into the role as Head Athletic Director for the remainder of his career.

As AD, he led in the restructuring of the Hall of Fame, helped oversee the fundraising and construction of Holland Field, as well as many other campus beautification projects, facility and equipment upgrades on top of day to day business.

Osborne worked with local businesses over the years and together they created many unique fan engagement opportunities like the Farmers and Merchants Kasasa Kick Challenge, Viking Heating and Air’s numerous challenges and the Hamburger Wagon 3 Point Challenge.

He would like to say:
Thank You - to all of the outstanding student-athletes he had the pleasure of mentoring.
Thank You - to all of the dedicated coaches and support staff he was blessed to work with.
Thank You - to the community and district for giving him the opportunity and trusting him to do the job he loved.
Thank You - to Jason Shade for being the best teammate imaginable.
And, Thank You - to his wife Andrea, daughters Jozie, Ellie and Sophie for their love and support throughout his career.

After retirement from Miamisburg City Schools, Osborne plans to continue working full time for AE Graphics in Dayton.
