Congratulations to 2018 Miamisburg High School graduate Jason Hubbard on being drafted into the NBA G League.

After graduating from Taylor University in 2023, Jason has continued to pursue his dream of playing professional basketball. During his senior season at Taylor, he averaged 23.6 points, 8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1 steal per game.

Following college, Jason played professionally in Romania before an injury cut his season short. Through hard work and determination, he made a full recovery and was recently selected 47th overall by the Motor City Cruise, the G League affiliate of the Detroit Pistons. The NBA G League serves as the official minor league of the NBA, providing players opportunities for development and potential call-ups to the league.

Jason continues to be an important part of the Miamisburg Basketball program, often visiting the team and training in MHS facilities when he’s back in town. He remains a role model for our athletes and a reminder that dedication and perseverance lead to success.
