Miamisburg Viking Marching Band Qualifies for OMEA State Marching Band Finals
The Miamisburg Viking Marching Band has earned a trip to the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) State Marching Band Finals this Sunday, closing out the OMEA portion of their season.
The band qualified by receiving unanimous Superior (I) ratings—the highest possible score—at both of its regular season OMEA events: Versailles and Ohio State. Only bands achieving this top rating qualify for the State Finals competition.
The community is invited to a special performance before the band departs for Piqua:

State Finals Details
The Vikings will perform their show, "Waterfront," on Sunday at 2:15 PM at Piqua High School, right before the awards break for their block.
