This weekend, 108 marching bands representing 21 states will converge on Indianapolis, Indiana, and Lucas Oil Stadium for the 2025 Bands of America Grand National Championships, held November 13–15.
Most of this year’s participants hail from the eastern half of the United States, with several traveling from Texas and one all the way from Alaska. In past years, bands from California and Hawaii have also taken part.
All 108 bands will perform in preliminary competition on Thursday and Friday. Semi-Finals and Finals will both take place on Saturday. Semi-Finalists are selected by placing in the top 30 overall or as the highest-scoring bands in their class, should they not already be in the top 30. The top 12 bands from Semi-Finals will advance to the Finals round on Saturday evening.
Miamisburg High School returns to the event this year, performing their 2025 production Waterfront at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
