Miamisburg Girls Basketball traveled to Riverside to open their season VS, returning 18-win squad, Stebbins at their place Saturday afternoon!
A physical & fast battle from the jump, Lady Viks ended the 1st quarter up— 10-9. The second quarter was a struggle for Burg to get a bucket to fall & Stebbins went on a run. Halftime score was 13-25. Miamisburg came out swinging in the 3rd quarter & got some possessions flowing. The game continued to be physical & Burg started to get FTs. End of 3rd quarter score was 25-38. Stebbins continued to hit shots and find O boards for second chances. Burg kept pushing through the 4th and scored 14 points- but ran out of time & Stebbins was able to keep their momentum— ending the game 43-55. Solid team effort and great positivity through the tough moments!
Madalyn Ball led with 11 points, followed by Jordyn Mumpower adding 10 points, Jay Moon dropped in 9 points; going 4/4 from FT.
