The Girls Varsity Bowling team earned their first win of the season, defeating Springboro with an impressive 2155–1888 victory.
Freshman Brooklyn Barnett set the tone early, opening the match with nine consecutive strikes on her way to a 267 game, followed by a 195. Her 267 not only powered the Vikings to a strong start, but also broke the Miamisburg Freshman Girls Record, previously held by Brittney Sheehan with a 247.
Senior Riley Blom delivered a standout performance as well, rolling games of 214 and 224, while All-GWOC First Team returner Nevaeh Chapman added a strong 228 in the opener before closing with a 163, helping the Vikings secure the match early.
With the victory, the Lady Vikings improve to 1–1 on the season and look to carry this momentum forward.
On the JV lanes, the Lady Vikings fell to Springboro 1338–1071.
