Wednesday night the Lady Vikings battled at home against the State ranked Fairmont Firebirds. It was a rough 1st quarter, but the Lady Vikings started putting stuff together in the 2nd & had their best quarter scoring 12-15 vs Fairmont. A physical battle continued through the second half of the game, and the Firebirds continued to push away. The Lady Viks stayed together & competed until the end! Great team energy & positive attitudes.
Scoring was led by Sophomore Jordyn Mumpower & Freshman Katie Willis both with 7 points each.
The Lady Vikings will travel to Beavercreek on Saturday morning for another GWOC battle.
