On Tuesday, December 23 at the Boys Basketball game versus Springfield, the record breakers for the Boys Track and Field team will be honored.
Kasem Kaheal broke Seth Elking's previous record in the 3200 meter Run in 2024 on his way to state, running a 9:08.45. Kasem will also be honored for his Cross Country 5K time of 15:17.60.
Two boys relay teams will also be honored. The 4x100 team featuring Kingston Majeed, Brayden Carpenter, Tamir Thomas, and Owen Post ran a 42.42 breaking the previous record from 2019. The 4x200 team with Nick Honeywell, William Preston, Tamir Thomas, and Owen Post ran a 1:28.57, breaking the record set in 2010.
