The Miamisburg Lady Vikings improved to 3-1 on the season Monday evening with a convincing 1946 to 1392 victory over Springfield. The team opened strong and maintained control throughout both traditional games and Baker play.
Junior Nevaeh Chapman led all scorers with the match’s high game of 203 and finished with an impressive 383 two-game series. Freshman Madilyn Zinn continued her early season momentum with a 308 series, and senior Riley Blom added an important 181 game to help secure the night’s margin.
The Vikings were particularly sharp in Baker competition, rolling games of 220 and 160 for a 380 total. Strong spare shooting and consistent pocket hits allowed Miamisburg to maintain its lead down the stretch and close out the match convincingly.
The JV Girls also had a convincing victory over Springield to move to 2-2 on the season.
Miamisburg returns to action this Saturday, December 13, at Western Bowl in Cincinnati for the Holiday Classic, a high-profile tournament featuring many of southwest Ohio’s top teams. The Lady Vikings enter with confidence and an opportunity to build further momentum.
