Miamisburg Vikings Defeat Northmont Thunderbolts, Improve Record to 4–2

The Miamisburg Varsity Boys bowling team outlasted Northmont on Saturday, earning a hard-fought 2408–2371 victory to improve their record to 4–2 on the season.

Northmont jumped out to an early advantage in Game 1, edging the Vikings 1013–990. The Vikings responded in Game 2, taking advantage of lane adjustments and delivering consistent frames to claim a 992–931 win. That performance gave Miamisburg a 38-pin lead heading into Baker play.

In the two-game Baker series, the Vikings rolled a 426, while the Thunderbolts posted a 427. Despite being narrowly outscored in Baker, Miamisburg held on to secure the match by 37 pins overall.

The Vikings were led by sophomore Zach Masters, who rolled games of 229 and 213. Junior Drew Parker followed with strong performances of 203 and 235.

Miamisburg returns to action on Saturday at the Holiday Classic at S&S Western Bowl in Cincinnati.

The JV Boys also picked up a win over Northmont, defeating the Thunderbolts 1842–1748. Sophomore Gavan Towery led the JV squad with games of 185 and 176.
