The Miamisburg Vikings boys bowling team delivered an outstanding performance Saturday at the Holiday Classic held at S&S Western Bowl, finishing among the top teams in a competitive 25-team field.
The Vikings dominated the qualifying rounds, rolling games of 1,012, 1,019, and 985 to take the overall lead by more than 150 pins heading into bracket play.
In the best-of-three bracketed finals, Miamisburg continued its strong showing, sweeping Northwest 2–0 in the opening round and then defeating Harrison 2–0. The Vikings’ run ended in the semi final match, where they fell 2–1 to a strong Elder squad to finish third overall.
Junior Drew Parker led the Vikings individually, rolling games of 205, 206, and 243 to finish second overall. His performance earned him his second All-Tournament Team selection of the season. Sophomore Kayden Reboulet posted a 616 series, while fellow sophomore Zach Masters rolled a 601 series, joining Parker on the All-Tournament Team.
