The Miamisburg boys' basketball team lost to Springfield 69 - 62 on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. Miamisburg suffered through a tough first quarter and trailed 17 - 5. They came back in the second quarter to trail by 4 at halftime after a buzzer-beating three-pointer by Connor Norman. The game was back and forth until the end, where Springfield pulled away by making free throws and getting a break away lay in to close the game. The Vikings had balanced scoring, getting 11 points each from Kellen Toadvine and Jordin Clack. Corey Brightwell also scored double figures with 10 points. The entire Miamisburg basketball program wishes everyone a Merry Christmas. The Vikings will be back in action on Tuesday, December 30th at Centerville. The game will tip off at 7:30 PM.
