The Lady Vikings Varsity team traveled to Hamilton Monday night for a non-conference matchup!

Burg was off to a slow start & struggled to get things going on both ends. Second quarter things started to turn around & the Lady Viks were able to convert some offense— going into halftime Burg trailed 16-34.

Coming out of the half things were starting to click & a Burg began to crawl their way back. End of the 3rd qt the score was 29-47. A lot of back & forth possessions throughout the 4th quarter. Burg started to make a run getting steals & quick buckets off their defense.

The margin was too big after the 1st & Burg couldn’t keep Hamilton off the boards enough & final score was 40-57.

Next matchup is a GWOC battle on Saturday morning at Home the Lady Elks from Centerville.
