Miamisburg loses a double header at home against Northmont. The first round was a close match until the last three questions. Aya Darwiche lead the team in the first round with 40 points, followed by Tanner Vongsy and Matthew Thompson both earning 20 points respectively. The second round was a tough loss. The team was lead by Joel Reinker and Matthew Thompson with 5 points each respectively.

The JV team got to play for the first time this season. JV also lost both matches but gained valuable experience. The JV was lead by Kaydence Shutts with 35 points, Oakley Anslinger with 25, Eric Calhoun and Eric Anderson receiving 10 each.

The Academic Team is looking to rally as they prepare to travel to Beavercreek on January 13th.
