The Miamisburg Lady Vikings picked up a convincing road win Monday afternoon, defeating Wayne 1955–1611 at Rollhouse Dayton to improve their record to 6–3 on the season.

Miamisburg set the tone early and never looked back, winning the opening game 808–669 and following it up with an even stronger 846–661 performance in game two. With a sizable cushion built, the Lady Vikings stayed steady through the baker games to close out the match and secure the victory.

Freshman Brooklyn Barnett delivered a record-breaking performance to lead Miamisburg. Her two-game total of 473 established a new Miamisburg freshman record, surpassing the previous mark of 467 set by Brittney Sheehan in 2015. Barnett also rolled a 265 game, which stands as the second-highest single game ever by a Miamisburg freshman, topped only by her own 267 earlier this season.

Barnett’s scoring pace and consistency anchored the lineup and kept pressure on Wayne from start to finish, allowing the Lady Vikings to build and maintain control throughout the match.

The Lady Vikings will be back in action on Friday when they travel to Poelking South to take on Springboro at 4 pm.
