The Miamisburg Academic Team traveled to Beavercreek for a double header. The Vikings lost the first round in a close match (175-190). The team tried to rally but in the end came up short. In Round 1, the Varsity team was lead by Aya Darwiche with 30 points. Matthew Thompson earned 20 points and Troy Mastronardi earned 15. Round 2 was also a tough match (130-310). The Academic Team was lead by Aya Darwiche for 30 points in Round 2. Carson Ballard earned 20 points, and Aeson Liddic earned 5.

The JV team also traveled Beavercreek. The JV team lost both rounds but was very close to winning. The JV team was lead by Kaden Shock with 60 points in Round 2.

The Miamisburg Academic Team will be looking to overcome the losing streak when we host Springfield on January 27th.
