The Miamisburg Boys' Varsity basketball team lost 50 - 43 on Thursday, January 15, 2026. Miamisburg played outstanding defense, holding Wayne to just 13 points in the first half, and led 15 - 13 at halftime. The Vikings continued with strong play in the third quarter and led 25 - 20 going into the fourth quarter. Miamisburg missed some shots and turned the ball over against Wayne's pressure in the fourth quarter. The Warriors were outstanding from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter, making 20 of 23 foul shots to close the game. Miamisburg was led in scoring by Kellen Toadvine and Corey Brightwell with 13 points. Jordin Clack also contributed 9 points. While the game was exciting, the best part of the evening took place just before tip-off. Breanna Ramberger, a senior cheerleader, celebrated her Senior Night. Bre is currently fighting cancer, and the Miamisburg community showed up and filled the stands with yellow shirts, cheering her on and showering her with encouragement. Miamisburg will play at home on Tuesday, January 20th, against Cincinnati Hughes. The game will tip off at 7:30 PM.
