Miamisburg varsity wrestling traveled south to compete at the Loveland Duals and finished the day as team runner-ups with a strong 4–1 record.
The Vikings were led by freshman Branson Malott, who went 5–0 on the day. After opening the tournament with a tough loss to Harrison, the team responded exactly how you hope a wrestling team will, rattling off four straight dual wins over West Clermont, Colerain, Loveland, and SW All-Stars.
Special recognition goes to sophomore Caleb Miller, who earned four pins in the fastest total time (7:07) on the day, narrowly edging out teammate junior Jason Holmes, who also recorded four pins in 7:08. Big-time efforts from both.
