The Miamisburg girls bowling team turned in another strong postseason performance Saturday at the Killbourne Postseason Prep Tournament at Holiday Lanes in Columbus, finishing runner-up in an 18-team field.
The Lady Vikings posted team games of 873, 841, and 864 before closing with a big 991 across the six baker games, totaling 3,569 pins on the day. That total left Miamisburg just three pins shy of tournament champion Pickerington Central, which won with a 3,572.
Individually, junior Nevaeh Chapman led the way with a 563 series, earning a fourth-place finish overall. Freshman Madilyn Zinn followed closely with a 550 series, good for fifth place. Both bowlers were named to the five-person All-Tournament Team.
The second-place finish against a deep field provided another quality postseason test as the team continues to build momentum heading into the championship stretch of the season.
