The JV girls bowled against Springboro tonight and fell 1888–1091, but the score doesn’t tell the full story. Down four players, the three remaining bowlers stepped up in a big way and each posted their personal best performances. Sophomore Addy Holtzman led the way with games of 169 and 183 for a match-high 352. Freshman Emma Liebst followed with an impressive 152 and 173 for a 325 series, while freshman Lainey Caldwell recorded her high game of 128. Despite the loss, this team continues to prove its determination, resilience, and strong work ethic. Their progress is shining through, and they’ll look to build on it when they return to action Monday, February 9 against Fairmont.
