Today, the JV girls competed in the JV State Championships at HP Lanes in Columbus, bowling two individual games and five baker games. Junior Sammy Hanson led the team with a 258 series, while junior Ella Kessel followed closely with a 251 total. Freshman Emma Liebst added a solid 142 game.

After the individual games and bakers, the girls made the cut, placing 5th out of 12 teams. In the first round of match play, they faced Fairfield and battled hard but came up short in the two baker games, falling 269–245.

The team showed continuous improvement throughout the day, gaining valuable experience on a big stage. The JV girls return to action Monday, February 9, against Fairmont.
