Saturday night the Lady Vikings hosted Northmont for a big GWOC matchup!

Northmont came out swinging and connected quick on a couple shots taking a lead early. The quarter was fast paced with lots of back and forth scoring. End of the 1st qt score was 17-18. The second quarter slowed down some but both teams stayed close. Halftime score Burg trailed 26-29.

Second half slowed down some with a lot of whistles. N-mont went to the line for 12 FTs in the 3rd— end of 3rd quarter score was 33-39. The 4th quarter seemed to follow the same flow of the 3rd, with lots of whistles early. Burg out scored them but couldn’t get enough momentum to take the lead.

Final score Burg 42 - Northmont 47.

Scoring led by Senior Madalyn Ball with 14 points, followed by Freshman Katie Willis with 9 points, Sophomore Jordyn Mumpower added 6 points, Senior Addi Leber had 5 points & Senior Brooklynn Sykes & Freshman Maya Pinto each had 3 points!

The Lady Vikings have their last regular season game next Wednesday at home vs Edgewood for SENIOR NIGHT! JV at 6:15p & Varsity to follow at 7:30p. Come out and support!
