The Miamisburg girls bowling team delivered another strong conference performance Monday night, defeating Fairmont at Poelking South by a final score of 2,250–1,775 and avenging an earlier season loss.

The Vikings set the tone early, pulling away with a 924–687 win in Game 1 before building even more separation in Game 2, 983–826. Miamisburg then closed the match by taking both baker games, 204–126 and 139–136, to secure the decisive victory.

Freshman Brooklyn Barnett led the charge with an outstanding performance, firing games of 160 and 256 for a 416 series. Her big second game helped fuel the Vikings’ surge and put the match out of reach.

Senior Riley Blom added a strong 409 series, while junior Nevaeh Chapman contributed a 393 series to round out a balanced effort from the lineup.

With the win, Miamisburg improves to 10–3 in Greater Western Ohio Conference play and will look to finish the conference schedule on a high note Wednesday against Springfield at Victory Lanes. First ball is set for 4 p.m. as the Vikings aim to carry their momentum into the postseason stretch.

On the JV front, the girls battled with only four girls to Fairmont’s five, but came up a little short falling 1,375 to 1,289. Addy Holtzman led the team with a 294 series.
