The Miamisburg Vikings Varsity Boys Bowling team staged an impressive comeback to defeat the Fairmont Firebirds 2570–2434 at home.

Fairmont jumped out early, taking Game 1 by a score of 1120–1022. Miamisburg was led by sophomore Kayden Reboulet with a 247 and junior Andrew Parker with a 239, but the Vikings found themselves trailing by 98 pins.

Showing poise and resilience, Miamisburg made key adjustments and responded in a big way in Game 2, rolling a 1141 to Fairmont’s 906. Parker caught fire, stringing together nine consecutive strikes before leaving a stubborn 10 pin on his way to a huge 279 game. Sophomore Landon Blaettner added a strong 243 to help swing the momentum firmly in the Vikings’ favor.

In the Baker format, Miamisburg rolled consistent games of 200 and 207, while Fairmont posted games of 220 and 188. The Vikings’ steady performance sealed the comeback victory, winning by a final margin of 136 pins.

With the win, Miamisburg improves its season record to 8–5, officially securing a winning season with two matches remaining.

JV boys bowling took down Fairmont 2099–2012, posting the highest JV team score of the season. The Vikings were led by Ty Back, who was locked in with games of 243 and 224 for a season-best 467 series. Gavan Towery had a breakout night as well, rolling a season-high 231 and earning the first 400 series of his career, finishing with 404.

This was a true team effort from start to finish, with every member contributing when it mattered. Big scores, big energy, and the kind of performance that shows how much this group has grown.

The Vikings are back in action on the road versus Springfield on Wednesday in their last GWOC match of the season.
