The final regular season match for the Miamisburg Vikings against Tippecanoe ended in a 2395–2049 victory on Senior Night.
Seniors Tidus Goodrich and Dominic Meyer were featured in the evening’s match, with Goodrich leading the senior effort with games of 220 and 201.
In Game 1, the Vikings jumped out to an early lead, 1061–889. Leading the way was sophomore Zach Masters with a 257, followed by junior Andrew Parker with a 224.
In the second regular game, the Vikings continued to extend their advantage with a 990–828 team score. Parker stayed hot, rolling a 259 in Game 2, followed again by Goodrich with a 201.
In the Baker format, the Vikings posted games of 168 and 176 to Tippecanoe’s 154 and 178.
The win moves the Vikings to a 10–5 overall record and a third-place 9–5 record in the GWOC behind champion Beavercreek and Centerville.
The Varsity squad returns to action Saturday at the Tiger End of Season Tournament at Wayne Webb’s Columbus Bowl. Postseason play begins Wednesday at Poelking Woodman Lanes.
The Vikings JV boys bowling team closed out the regular season in dominant fashion with a commanding 2,100–1,002 victory over Tippecanoe High School.
The boys were led by Landon Blaettner, who put on a show with games of 201 and 278 for an outstanding 479 series. Gavan Towery delivered a big-time performance as well, firing games of 194 and 246 for a strong 440 series.
From top to bottom, it was a complete team effort. Every bowler contributed, stayed focused, and competed the right way to secure the win. The Vikings wrap up the season with an impressive 12–8 record — a testament to their growth, resilience, and teamwork throughout the year.
