The Miamisburg Varsity Girls Bowling team punched their ticket to the postseason’s next stage with a resilient performance at the Sectional Tournament held Thursday at Poelking Woodman Lanes.
Competing against a strong field of 26 schools, the Lady Vikings battled through a slow start and steadily gained momentum throughout the day to finish 7th overall, earning advancement to the Southwest District Tournament next Thursday at Beaver Vu Lanes.
Junior Nevaeh Chapman led the way with an outstanding performance, finishing 5th individually with a 557 series. Freshman Brooklyn Barnett continued her impressive season, placing 15th overall with a 506 series and providing a key boost to the team’s qualifying effort.
With confidence building and postseason experience now in hand, the Lady Vikings will look to carry their late-day momentum into Districts as they continue their push toward a state-qualifying performance.
