The Vikings competed against a stacked District field and finished 9th out of 24 teams. The top five teams advanced to the State Finals next week in Columbus. Miamisburg bowled well but came up just short of advancing.
The team was led by sophomore Zack Masters, who rolled games of 254, 179, and 237 for a 670 series. Juniors Drew Parker added a 644 series, while James Chapman contributed a 632.
The Vikings wrapped up a strong season by finishing third in the GWOC (after placing fifth in 2024–25), earning top-five finishes in four tournaments, taking third at Sectionals, and winning five tournament titles.
While it’s a disappointing end to the season, the young roster showed tremendous growth and promise for the next couple of years.
