Miamisburg faced a tough opponent on Saturday, but the Vikings showed strong mental toughness in key spots and supported each other throughout the entire game.
In the circle, Pigman stayed composed and kept competing, showing real leadership even as Carlisle’s offense stayed hot. At third base, the Vikings got steady, focused play in one of the toughest positions on the field. In center field, Miamisburg had a reliable anchor who kept the outfield organized and made smart reads all game long.
One thing that stood out was the team support. The dugout stayed positive, loud, and connected from start to finish. The girls continued to cheer for each other, lift each other up, and stay together as a team.
Offensively, Wade recorded Miamisburg’s hit of the day, and Johnson added energy with two stolen bases. The Vikings also turned a clean double play, showing good awareness and teamwork.
Even in a tough loss, the Vikings showed leadership, toughness, and strong team support — all things they can build on moving forward.
