The baseball team had their first game of the season Tuesday at Eaton High School and came out ready to play. Solid pitching, timely hitting, and good defensive play helped the team get the win by a score of 14-2. Tristan Korolchuk threw 4 2/3 innings and Logan Colaric 1 1/3. Korolchuck struck out 6 and only allowed 2 runs. Colaric struck out 1 in relief.

Offensively the Vikings came out swinging the bats really well. As a team they collected 11 hits and had 12 RBI's. Wade Riggs and Ty Hoskins led the Vikings offensively with Riggs having 3 hits including a double and a triple and driving in 3. Hoskins was 2 for 3 with an RBI and scored 3 times. Logan Colaric, Cameren Kaufman, Reece Hammond, and Nate Linder all had doubles as well.

The Vikings play at home on Thursday against Waynesville starting at 5:00 pm.
