The Miamisburg High School Boys Track and Field Team traveled to Fairmont in a dual match Wednesday evening. Despite several athletes missing for Spring Break, Miamisburg won 76-36.
Athletes taking first place were: Brayden Carpenter (100m dash), Zach Bogan (300m hurdles), William Preston (200m dash), Connor Norman (800m run), Darren Valaire (High Jump), Dylan Gibbs (discus), Noah Kratzer (shotput), Gavin Severing (Pole Vault), and the 4x400m relay team of William Preston, Connor Norman, Brayden Carpenter, and Troy Mastronardi. There were also several other athletes in the top 3 earning points for the track team.
Special recognition to Dylan Gibbs adding himself to the all-time top 10 list in discus with a throw of 139 feet 10 inches, 6th all time.
