Miamisburg beat Sidney Saturday after starting out hot then needing a late rally to capture their second win of the season. Wade Riggs started the game for Miamisburg on the mound and pitched 4 innings and surrendered only 1 hit and 1 walk while striking out 6 batters. Braden Trent closed the game out to help the Vikings get the win.
Offensively, Miamisburg was led by Riggs and Nate Linder who both had multi hit games. Linder came up big in the 6th when he hit a triple to drive in the tying and go ahead run. He had 3 RBI's on the day. Riggs was 2 for 2 with 2 RBI's and scored 2 runs as well.
Miamisburg is at home on Monday as they take on LaSalle at 5:00.
