Miamisburg Boys Lacrosse | 4/14/2026
On Monday 4/13 The Vikings Varsity Boys Lacrosse team traveled to Monroe for a matchup against the Hornets. Perfect weather for a lacrosse game allowed for hopes to stay high for Miamisburg, despite a long list of injuries. This matchup proved to be intense as multiple lead changes occurred throughout all four quarters. Monroe committed a total of just over 10 minutes of penalty time, and this resulted in momentum shifts that allowed for the Vikings to come out on top. With only 2 seconds remaining in the 4th quarter, Nash Pyle intercepted a pass from the opposing goalkeeper and scored to put the Vikings ahead by 1 with little to no time left to play. Multiple outstanding Miamisburg performances include Tanner Vongsy with 4 goals and 1 assist, Lincoln Bell with 2 goals, Landon Green with 3 caused turnovers, and Logan Sharkey with 2 goals and 2 caused turnovers. The Vikings Goalkeeper Alex "Dragon" Fields kept the Vikings defense intact with 12 saves. This was a much-needed win to break a 5-game losing streak and as players return from injuries the Boys Varsity Lacrosse team continues to improve and remains hopeful. The next matchup for the boys is at home against a strong Kettering Fairmont Firebirds team on Wednesday 4/15, 6 PM.
