Boys Lacrosse headed to Northmont for a GWOC matchup against the Thunderbolts of Northmont. The first half was a battle with lead changes and intense ground ball battles. Ultimately the Vikings fell short due to lack of clearing efficiency and basic ball movement issues. GWOC leading scorer attackman for Northmont got in a rhythm as the Vikings grew fatigued however neither the offense nor defense laid down as Northmont rolled with momentum. There were some outstanding Viking performances such as Senior Captain Tanner Vongsy with 3 goals and 1 assist, Junior Captain Landon Kresge with 1 goal 3 caused turnovers and 4 ground balls, Carter Vozel with 3 caused turnovers and 3 ground balls, and Landon Trupp with 1 goal and 1 assist. The Boys lacrosse team will host Tippecanoe on Monday 4/27 as their next matchup.
