The Lady Vikings fought hard at the recent Troy Relays finishing 4th overall. Scoring and placing for the team were the 4x200 relay team of Elle Jennings, Emily Speakman, Lily Holp, and Grace Sundermann- 5th (1:47.79 season PR), the shuttle hurdles relay team of Braelynn Bush, Deborah Tijani, Izabella Dodd, and Maiya McKinney- 2nd, the sprint medley relay team of Jaelyn Richardson, Elle Jennings, Deborah Tijani, and Gabby Evans- 5th, the distance medley relay team of Sofia Stocker, Sadie Kovacs, Sidney Toole, and Kim Donbar- 4th, the 4x100 relay team of Braelynn Bush, Emily Speakman, Elle Jennings, and Grace Sundermann- 3rd (51.26 season PR), the 4x100 Ironman relay team of Kyndal Criswell, Katie Speakman, Emilia Albrecht, and Mozan Abdeen- 4th, the 4x800 relay team of Kim Donbar, Sidney Toole, Sadie Kovacs, Grace Sundermann- 4th (10:33.55 season PR), Kyndal Criswell- 6th in shot put and 5th in discus, and Kate Waddell- 8th in high jump.
The girls varsity track and field team will next compete at the Wayne Invitational April 30-May1.
