Miamisburg hosted it's annual Veterans Day on Saturday and as usual was a great day to celebrate our local heroes. Approximately 20 veterans were in attendance along with American Legion Post 165 color guard who performed a 21 gun salute and played taps to honor the fallen. Current commander of the Legion, Steve Captain threw out the ceremonial first pitch to his son Drew Captain. The Legion has always been a huge supporter of Miamisburg Baseball and continue to do the same.
Miamisburg played Lebanon and rallied late and the tying run at the plate but were unable to complete the comeback. They lost 5-3 to the Warriors to move their record to 5-16 on the season. Ty Hoskins led the offense going 1-2 with a double, an RBI, scoring 1 run and having a sacrifice fly.
