The Lady Vikings contended with some of the best teams in the state at the Wayne Invitational. Placing for the team were the 8th place DMR relay team of Sidney Toole, Gabby Evans, Sadie Kovacs, and Kim Dunbar (13:21.54), Sofia Stocker- 20th in 3200 run (12:28.18), the 13th place shuttle hurdle relay team of Ayan Makuoch, Deborah Tijani, Braelynn Bush, and Izabella Dodd (1:16.67), Braelynn Bush- 20th in 300 meter hurdles (50.0 PR) and 15th in 100 meter hurdles (16.04 PR), the 14th place 4x200 relay team of Elle Jennings, Grace Sundermann, Jaelyn Richardson, and Lily Holp (1:48.14), the 15th place 4x100 relay team of Braelynn Bush, Lily Holp, Emily Speakman, and Elle Jennings (51.25 Season PR), Kyndal Criswell- 17th in shot put (33'3") and 11th in discus (108'1"), and Emily Speakman- 15th in long jump (15'11.5" PR). The Girls Track and Field Team next honors their Senior members at home on Tuesday, May 5, and then travels to Lebanon on Wednesday, May 6 for the Lebanon Invitational.
