On 5/12, the Vikings Boys Lacrosse team hosted Beavercreek in their final regular season home game. Competition was tough as Beavercreek is a leader in the GWOC with an entire lineup of year arou8nd lacrosse players. Miamisburg stood tall and momentum often shifted into Viking favor allowing for goals to be put up on the board. Final score was 17-5 in favor of Beavercreek. Notable Viking performances include Tanner Vongsy with 2 goals and 1 assist, Landon Trupp with 1 goal 1 assist, Senior Shea Thompson with his first varsity goal, and Marshall Wilkin with 4 caused turnovers and 5 ground balls. Vikings will travel to Sycamore to faceoff with the Aves in their first-round matchup in the state playoffs on 5/13.
