Ryan Wintersheimer is in his 22nd year of teaching in Ohio public schools and his 13th year with Miamisburg City Schools. He earned degrees from Eastern Michigan University and VanderCook College of Music.

At Miamisburg, Ryan directs bands at both Miamisburg High School and Miamisburg Middle School. Since joining the district, he has served as the Interim and/or Assistant Director of the BOA semifinalist Miamisburg Viking Marching Band. He is also one of the directors of the Miamisburg WGI Winds program, a multi-time medalist ensemble that he has helped lead since its founding.

In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Ryan is an active adjudicator, clinician, and consultant for music programs throughout the Dayton and Cincinnati regions.

Ryan lives in Miamisburg with his wife, Cristina, and their two sons, Andrew and Ben.
