Tytus Bettendorf - Football

Tytus is our male athlete of the week for whatever week we are naming them. He is a senior captain and a tremendous leader on the football team. In game one against CJ, Tytus scored three rushing touchdowns and accounted for close to 100 yards of total offense. He completed two passes along with recording a 14 yard reception. Most importantly, he sets a great example for our team as a leader in the community, classroom, locker room, and on the field.

Georgia Godsey - Cheer

Georgia is our female athlete of the week for her outstanding leadership and commitment to her team. As one of two seniors on the Varsity Football and Competition Squads, she carries a lot of leadership responsibility and embraces the opportunity to set the tone of a practice or game. She is always one of the hardest working athletes on and off the mat, willing to put in extra effort and lead by example. Her positive attitude, leadership, and genuine care for her teammates has made a lasting impact on the team as a whole. She is looked up to by so many and truly exemplifies what it means to be a VIking.
