The boys varsity team had to deal with harsh golf conditions on monday to play in this years sectional tournament. We had multiple rain delays totaling 4 hrs before the course was ready to play. The driving range was not open due to all the rain so the first few swings of the day were not the normal for most players. The five players that played in this tournament did as well as they could battling the tough conditions. Golf balls were lost in the middle of fairways due to completely plugging in the ground and not able to be found. The team finished 8th out of 14 teams. The top 2 scores were Monroe Shoemaker with and 80 and Kayden Reboulet with an 85. Monroe missed getting into a playoff to go the the district tournament by one shot. He is just a sophmore with a great future ahead and 2 more chances of moving on to districts and maybe more. The team plays in its last tournament on wednesday which is the GWOC championship @Heatherwoode
